Before this trip, I was air mile free, limited to the confines of the UK. 
I’d began my exploration of my relationship with nature, with home. I had graduated and was involved in my first serious relationship. 
The trip was one of the key turning points, giving me a new lease of independence and curiosity, a lust for life. My relationship was due to end, I would move back home to Wales and begin chapter of my life.
